Throwback to the 1970s: Me at c3 years old, staring into space, probably wondering what the future holds (or possibly where the loos were...who knows?)
✨ If you could go back in time and tell your younger self what life would turn out like, what would you say? I’d tell mini me that life is wild, a runaway roller coaster with surprises at every turn — but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger (musical note), smarter, and (hopefully) better dressed. 👖
Fast forward to 2024, and suddenly I’m my own boss and The Alchemist comes to life. It’s funny because, like 3-year-old me, I didn’t know exactly what was coming. But that’s the beauty of life (coincidently, a bit like coaching 😉): it’s not about having all the answers upfront. It’s about knowing that, deep down, you already have the solutions — you just need to uncover them.
💡 Reminder for today: The best coaches don’t give you the answers — they help you discover the answers that are already within you. Much like how 3-year-old me had no clue what was ahead, new managers often feel unsure. But with the right guidance (and a little coaching), you realise you’ve had the potential all along.
